This Privacy Policy explains how TalkAgent (the “App”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the App, related websites, support channels, cloud AI features, speech features, and paid credit or subscription features.

1. Summary
TalkAgent is an AI-assisted conversation, language practice, translation, speech, and productivity app. Some features can run locally on your device, while cloud AI, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, account, usage, and billing features may require sending information to our cloud backend and service providers.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your conversations or audio recordings to train our own machine-learning models. We process user content only to provide the features you request, operate the App, keep the service secure, support billing, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information, depending on which features you use.
2.1 Account and authentication information
The App may create or use an anonymous or signed-in session so that the service can identify your usage, apply credits, prevent abuse, and show your own balances and history. This may include:
- user ID or anonymous ID;
- authentication token issued by the backend provider;
- account creation and last activity timestamps;
- email address if you contact support or later use an account feature that asks for email.
2.2 Conversation, text, and language-practice content
When you use chat, direct talk, roleplay, translation, phrase assistance, sentence generation, or similar features, the App may process the text you type, generated responses, selected language, display language, goal, tone, conversation turns, and related context needed to provide the requested feature.
2.3 Voice, audio, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech data
When you enable microphone or speech features, the App may process audio data, audio chunks, transcripts, spoken text, generated speech, voice settings, speech timing, and related metadata needed to provide speech-to-text, voice interaction, or text-to-speech features. We access the microphone only when you choose to use a voice feature and your device permission allows it.
2.4 Usage, credits, billing, and store information
The App may collect and store usage and billing-related information, including:
- product or SKU selected;
- credit balance and credit ledger events;
- points reserved, charged, completed, or refunded;
- usage operation type, status, provider mode, estimated cost, and timestamps;
- purchase, restore, subscription, pass, or credit-pack events;
- payment or receipt references received from app stores or payment providers;
- fraud-prevention and billing reconciliation metadata.
We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers in the App. Payment providers or app stores process payment details under their own terms and privacy policies.
2.5 Device, diagnostics, and security information
We may collect limited technical information needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the App, such as:
- app version, platform, operating system, and device type;
- network request metadata, IP address, approximate country or region, and timestamps;
- crash logs, error logs, API status, latency, and failed operation information;
- security, abuse-prevention, and fraud-prevention signals.
2.6 Support and feedback information
If you contact us, we may collect your email address, message content, screenshots or attachments you choose to send, app version, issue type, and related support history.
2.7 Local device data
The App may store certain settings or history locally on your device. Release builds are designed so that conversation history and sentence history are not persisted locally unless you explicitly enable the relevant privacy preference. If you disable the preference, the App should clear the corresponding local data from your device.
3. How we use information
We use information for the following purposes:
- to provide chat, translation, speech, text-to-speech, speech-to-text, language practice, and AI features;
- to create or refresh user sessions and authenticate requests;
- to calculate, reserve, charge, complete, or refund usage credits;
- to display your credit balance, product catalog, purchase history, and usage history;
- to process purchases, restores, subscriptions, refunds, and billing support;
- to prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unauthorized access;
- to troubleshoot errors, monitor reliability, and improve user experience;
- to respond to support, privacy, deletion, and legal requests;
- to comply with laws, store policies, accounting duties, tax duties, dispute resolution, and lawful requests.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable, we process information based on one or more of the following legal bases:
- performance of a contract with you, including providing the App and paid features;
- your consent, such as when you enable microphone access or optional local history;
- legitimate interests, such as security, fraud prevention, debugging, service improvement, and support;
- compliance with legal obligations, including accounting, tax, consumer protection, and app-store requirements.
5. How we share information
We may share information with the following categories of recipients only as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:
- Cloud backend and database providers, for authentication, storage, usage records, credits, and API routing.
- AI model, translation, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech providers, to generate responses, translations, transcripts, or speech output requested by you.
- Payment providers and app stores, to process purchases, restores, subscriptions, refunds, and billing disputes.
- Analytics, reliability, and security providers, to understand app usage, diagnose failures, secure the service, and prevent abuse.
- Support tools and email providers, to respond to your requests.
- Legal, compliance, or safety recipients, when required by law, valid legal process, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information with third parties for cross-app behavioral advertising unless we update this Privacy Policy and obtain any required consent.
6. International data transfers
The App and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. These countries may have privacy laws different from those in your jurisdiction. When information is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law, such as contractual protections, security measures, and limiting transfers to what is necessary for the App.
If you are located in Korea or another jurisdiction with cross-border transfer requirements, the information may be processed by cloud, AI, speech, payment, analytics, or support providers outside your country as necessary to provide the App. You may contact us for more information about current processing locations and service providers.
7. Data retention
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
Typical retention approach:
- local device history: kept only according to your local privacy settings and removable by turning the setting off or deleting the App;
- account/session information: kept while needed to operate your session, credits, security, and support;
- usage and credit ledger records: kept while needed for billing, fraud prevention, support, accounting, and dispute resolution;
- payment, subscription, refund, and tax records: kept as required for accounting, tax, legal, and audit obligations;
- support communications: kept while needed to handle your request and maintain support history;
- security, diagnostic, and abuse-prevention logs: kept for a limited period unless needed longer for security, legal, or dispute reasons.
When we no longer need information, we delete it, de-identify it, or aggregate it where reasonably possible.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and the feature you use, you may have rights to:
- request access to your personal information;
- request correction or deletion;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- request information about data sharing or international transfers;
- request a copy of certain information in a portable format.

9. Account and data deletion
To request deletion of your App account/session data or personal information, email lovecrdm@gmail.com with the subject line “TalkAgent Account Deletion Request.” Please include any email address or user identifier connected to your App use, if available.
When we receive a verified deletion request, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account/session unless we must retain certain information for legitimate reasons such as security, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcing our agreements.
Deleting App data may remove access to usage history, credit history, support history, and other service records. Some local device data may need to be deleted directly on your device by using App settings, turning off local history, clearing App storage, or uninstalling the App.
10. Microphone and sensitive permissions
The App may request microphone permission for voice features. We use microphone access only when you choose to record or speak through the App. You can disable microphone permission in your device settings. If you disable microphone access, voice features may not work, but text features may still be available.
11. Children
The App is not intended for children under 14 years old, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. If you believe a child under 14 has provided personal information through the App, contact us at lovecrdm@gmail.com so we can review and delete the information where appropriate.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encrypted network transport, backend access controls, authentication, row-level access restrictions where applicable, and separation of public client settings from provider secrets. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Third-party services
The App may use third-party service providers for backend hosting, authentication, databases, AI models, speech processing, text-to-speech, payments, app stores, analytics, diagnostics, and support. Those services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms. We are not responsible for third-party services that you access outside the App or through links.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice through the App, website, app-store listing, or email where appropriate. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
